Our Technology in Water Treatment
Our company’s core technology is our innovative plasma reactor for surface, air, and water applications. Our plasma technology is patented for its small size, scalability, and low power demand. Our company leverages the benefits of this technology in a variety of areas, ranging from space sterilization to food preservation.
Currently being developed through a NASA contract, SurfPlasma is developing a space-focused plasma sterilizer. This sterilizer capitalizes on the unique benefits of our plasma technology, being completely portable, lightweight, low power, and operational with only standard air while being capable of sterilizing hard to kill space relevant pathogens. These characteristics enable it to be perfectly suited for space-related usage, where power, size, and recourses are at a premium.
Currently being developed through a NSF, SurfPlasma is developing a healthcare-focused plasma sterilizer. This sterilizer has been shown to sterilize as well as the competition yet still has the additional benefits of complete portability, low power requirements, and low costs. With a focus on elimination of bacteria which cause
healthcare acquired infections for a variety of hospital equipment, this sterilizer is optimized for both large and small healthcare facilities.
